Association Of British Insurers
The Association of British Insurers overarches the insurance industry in the UK. Created in the 1980s, its aim was to enable the UK insurance companies to have an official body which would speak both for the insurance industry and also answer to members of the public. The Association Of British Insurers also develops standards within the industry, such as e.g. customer service standards.
