Credit Search
A credit search is carried out by a credit reference agency to check your credit record, including whether you have CCJs or defaults, a history of missing
payments or not paying on time. You must give your permission for the credit search to go ahead because it can potentially adversely affect your credit rating. In most
cases a record of the credit search being carried will appear on the credit report.
