A secured loan could pay for a trip to Spain

Homeowners who are keen not to sacrifice their annual trip to Spain this year may find a secured loan can help.

According to Holiday Extras, the European destination has been the most popular among Brits looking to get away this spring.

The airport hotel and parking group conducted research that found 18 per cent of people in the UK would consider going to mainland Europe for a break in the coming months despite the unfavourable exchange rate.

In comparison, 13 per cent said they would be open to the idea of a long-haul getaway.

Despite the continuing draw of destinations like Spain, managing editor at Holiday Extras Mike Whiting stated people were starting to consider different locations for trips abroad.

He stated: "Europe will always be popular, but I think increasingly people are looking outside the eurozone and the dollarzone where they can get a slightly better rate for their pound."

For people who do not have spare cash available at the moment, a secured loan could be a cost-effective means of paying for a trip, regardless of destination.
